Gymnastics, Mother's Day, Easter

Having a little fun at gymnastics!
Getting some help with a forward roll on the beam.

Keeping balance is tough. Wishing I had Lisa G. and her awesome camera and photo abilities right about now.

Bear crawl on the low beam she can handle on her own :)

Really, you want me to walk on this high beam while holding an egg in a spoon. Did anyone tell you this is my first class.

Hands down, jump, to the hoop. K got it.

She liked the bars.

Forward roll and run on the mats. I love this place!

Can't beat a sucker and hand stamps to end a fun 1st gymnastics.

Elk photo on the way to Elkins.

Very cool swim, literally... I think the water temperature was in the 50s but it was in the high 80s low 90 outside.

Pres didn't seem to think the water was that cold. What is it with kids thinking water is never cold? I remember swimming in the pool when it was just filled with cold water when I was a kid.

Even Taylor had a great time in the water.

"Lets get in dad"

Mother's Day picnic at Falling Water.

Cheese!

2011 Deer Athletic Banquet

Fun dinner / play date with the cousins. Dress up is always a winner.

Our final product. Glitter eggs, whose idea was that! Can you say glitter EVERYWHERE.

Funny times doing eggs at Granny Greats house.

No clothes allowed at egg coloring time.

Searching for those winning eggs. Lots of candy also, we really needed it. Elkins does a great job with the egg hunt. It was raining and wet outside this year so we hunted inside. Cookies and punch following the hunt.

Picture time with the Bunny himself.

The girls wait patiently to see the Easter Bunny. Wonder what they were talking about :) In the front are the prize baskets for winning eggs that were found. Presley found 3! She kept one, gave one to Andrew and the other to another boy that didn't get anything. She got some really cute stuff, the fluffy pink bunny was her favorite thing.

Silver Dollar City Fun

Pres had to sit on dad's shoulders to see the duel in the street. She was curious about the wheels and water.
Everyone enjoyed the new kids area at SDC.

It's amazing what a dad will do for his little one.

Her very first ride alone.

A little target practice.
Waiting for the next victim to come in the boats
They got her as she was running away.
You can shoot the boat with water but they can also shoot at you.

Presley loved the rides and we were very lucky that it wasn't to busy so she had plenty of chances to ride over and over.

Random

Taking advantage of the nice weather and doing a little outside painting. Playing a few games
Loved the horse
Taking out a little aggression on the moles. She loved the go carts the best but we were all driving and having fun so no picture.

Winter Review

Lots of ice and lots of snow! Notice the snow in Brent's glasses. We got him good with a snowball. :)
Ice and snow = super cold. We never could stay out long. I think Presley would have stayed out until she was frozen. She never wanted to go inside.
Plenty of Wii time and staying up late. We found lots of things to do to keep us busy. Arts and crafts, reading, cooking.... Anything to stay busy. We were very lucky that our electricity stayed on most of the time, I think we were only out once for a very short time.

Taylor wasn't sure about getting out into the really deep snow. After she finally would go out I think she had a great time.
We got in a lot of good sledding time. Lots of days off from school to enjoy the snow so we'll be going to school until June. I'd like to have some of those snow days back now.

Party Time 2011

" oh yeah it's my birthday... party time"
I think my mom did a great job making me this shirt :)

bounce house fun

Even the parents had fun playing. I missed pictures of the races down the slides.

Even Kyle had some fun

bounce bounce

Our youngest guest, Carson.

Presley had a great time and bounced until she couldn't bounce anymore.

I had a hard time getting good pictures because the kids didn't want to stop for photo time. Lots of my pictures are just a big blur.

Presley and PaPa

Time for some cookie cake and juice

Quick family photo

Andrew enjoying his cookie

Time for gifts. Such a cute tutu. She loves it.

Strawberry Shortcake car, lots of fun.

You can just call her Jessie now.

After a good lunch and a long nap on the way home she was rested and ready to play and put up her new bed tent. She loves it and is sleeping in her big girl bed now.

She wanted to take my picture in the tent.

To end the day we had a little dinner of her choice, pizza party. We had to sing happy birthday again of course.
Thanks to everyone who came to her party and sent her gifts. We are very blessed to have such a great girl. These three years have flown by and we enjoy each day with her. I can't wait to see what next year brings for our family.
Little update for her "baby book-aka the blog". Presley weighs 35 pounds and is 41" tall. She has been completely potty trained for about 10 months and doesn't sleep with a pull-up anymore. She is a great eater and is good to eat fruits and veggies. I gave her a question and answer session and here are her answers. Her favorite thing to eat when you ask her is "noodles". What is your favorite color "purple". Who is your favorite princess "Belle". What is your favorite thing "my new Jessie doll". What was your favorite thing yesterday for your birthday "cake and the candle". What is your favorite movie "my new Barbie movie". What is the favorite move you have seen at the theater "Rapunzel". What is your favorite thing to watch on TV "George" -That is Curious George. What is your favorite thing to do outside "draw with chalk and play in the rain" This was so funny because I didn't give her any choices just wrote what she said. I should do this more often because she is so funny and it is interesting to see what her little mind is thinking. It would also be more telling when she didn't just get a new load of gifts :)
