Christmas Season 2010 Branson

Fill it up!

We LOVE Build-a-Bear! You get to pick what you want to make, fill it, put in a heart, wash it and name it. A very fun thing to do. This time Presley put in sound, now Rudolph plays Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

Time to wash Rudolph.

Lately she has been telling me that we have to go back to get Rudolph's girl so he can have a friend.

They have so much fun stuff to do at Bass Pro. Make a craft, this week it was a fishing bobber Santa ornament.

Little games like target practice. You can shoot turkey, deer and other stuff.

RC cars are always fun, I think these were big 4 wheel mud trucks or something.

They also had pictures with Santa. I didn't take a picture so I got her with Frosty instead.

Visiting the fish in Bass Pro with Kyle, plus a little resting time.

" I'm a great driver"

"Maybe Santa will bring me this one!!"

Another long day in Branson. Sleep for the ride home.

Papaw had a double knee replacement and we went to visit. He's superman and doing great.

Finally time for the tree. This was a fun night because it is the first Christmas that Presley has really known what was going on and helped. She is very excited and has been so much fun. There is nothing like seeing the holiday season through the eyes of a child.

Presley took a break to have a reindeer cookie. She did great putting on the ornaments and decorating. I think she had a fun night.

SDC @ Christmas

We had a great day at Silver Dollar City and can't wait to go back. We live very close and can't wait to go back. I loaded the pictures and then noticed the day starts at the bottom of the posting and ends at the top so read from end to start.
Then very last was a quick picture by the big tree and off to the car where Presley was up for maybe 2 minutes before falling fast asleep.

We finished up the day with a train ride.

Then came Santa in his sleigh

After a few rides and some hot cocoa it was time for the parade.

He was able to squeeze into the elephant ride. Those kid rides are not made for tall people.

Then it was time for some fun. Brent waited for 30 min. or more in line with Pres to ride this ride then when it came time to get in he was to tall and wouldn't fit. So I had to run up and jump in so she could go.

And then we finally got to see him. She ran right up on the stage without me and started talking right away.

Some nice lady took our picture as we waited.

Once we finished the letter she dropped it in the big mouth and we went back to line.
Presley wrote her letter to Santa while dad held our place in line to see the big guy. Yes dad's are great to have around.
Photo op. on our way in.

We arrived at Silver Dollar City and were ready for some fun. The weather was great and Presley was ready to see Santa and get some popcorn.

Happy 30th Brent

Brent's been under the weather for the past few days but he put on a smile for Presley's "surprise" party.
Presley and I threw Brent a surprise party. Well we tried but first thing this morning she ran and told him that we were working on a surprise birthday for him.

She helped make the cake. I didn't get any pictures of that since I was cleaning up all the spills and trying to keep batter of the walls, floor, etc. I went ahead and did the chocolate covered strawberries on my own while she took a nap to save a complete scrub down of the kitchen.

Summer Run Down

My computer doesn't want to load more than this so more later. But for now......
It was really hot so we were lucky to see animals out of their homes.

Having a little fun at Little Rock Zoo.

In KY down at the fountains.

Pres and I did a little swimming while Brent and Phil played golf.

They took me out for my birthday and Presley helped me blow out the candle.

Granddad and Nana

Family photo after dinner

At Kory and Heather's wedding. Presley loved the horses.

Presley and Reagan running around at the wedding.

A little monkeying around at the house.

Reagan's 4th birthday bash. She had a cute train that took the kids around the neighborhood for rides. All of the kids loved it!

I even got to go on one of the rides.

Bring on the cake!

The girls attack Brent!

More Disney

Toon Town here we come!

Mickey Mouse, look at that face ~ so excited!

Toon Town was so interesting and Presley loved looking through Mickey's house and Minnie's house, they are neighbors you know.

We waited for weeks to see Minnie Mouse. Presley was so excited and has asked me almost every day since when we could go back to see Minnie again.
Princess Belle with the family.

Kyle liked Ariel. She wasn't there by the time Presley and I made it in, they switched off and on a lot I guess.

Princess Tiana was my favorite. She talked and talked to Presley and was just so nice. They all were but Presley talked with her the most I think.

Princess Jasmine was also really great. Presley liked her a lot also.

One last big thank you to my mom for flying us out to see her and for keeping us entertained and fed. We had a great time with you and can't wait to come back and see you soon. Thank you for everything it is so appreciated.
Thanks also to Grandad Phil, Presley got some great stuff at Disney and had lots of fun.
