~Surprise~

Surprise For all of those who don't know Brent and I are expecting a baby on February 21, 2008. These are our first sonogram pictures taken today. I couldn't get them to go on here any bigger. I'll try again later to see if I can get it to work a little better next time. I'm about 15 weeks and they think we are going to have a girl. I have to go back in 3 weeks for another one and they said they would check again then, but they are pretty sure.

~Jupiter Lighthouse~

This weekend Brent and I decided to take a visit to the Jupiter Lighthouse.

Designed by George G. Meade, later Federal commander at Gettysburg. First lighted July 10, 1860. Dark during the War Between the States and its mechanism hidden by southern sympathizers. Relighted June 28, 1866. It has not missed a night in over 100 years. Operated by the United States Coast Guard since 1939.

This is the cute blanket that my friend Kim sent for my birthday. Thanks Kim, I love it!

~The Beach~

We have really gotten out of the habit of going an enjoying the beach so we decided to go and take a few pictures. It is easy to take for granted that you live just a few minutes from the beach. I don’t think we have gone since last year sometime, but the last few weekends we decided to quit complaining that we have nothing to do and just pack up and go to the beach. It’s a bit warm here in August, I think that’s our warmest month, but the ocean water tends to be a bit cool so it’s very refreshing during these hot August days.

It's My Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Me!!!

Brent was so nice and brought these yummy strawberries to me at work. We also went out to dinner this weekend, but I of course forgot the camera as usual.

Thanks to all my family and friends who called or emailed today. I got a great call and birthday song from Mandy and her kids while I was at work, which started my day off on a great note.
